Choose The Right New Build Inspection
Your inspection can take place at different stages of your new home journey, depending on where you are in the handover process.
A handover inspection is conducted before you move into your newly constructed property. It helps identify defects, outstanding work, and areas that may require attention before occupation.
A 90-day inspection takes place approximately three months after you receive your keys. It provides an opportunity to identify issues that become apparent after you have started living in the property.
Choose the combined option if you want support at both stages of your new home journey, from the initial handover through to the 90-day inspection.
What Happens After You Book Your Inspection
Once your booking is submitted, we coordinate the inspection for your property and guide you through the next steps.
The inspection takes approximately 90 minutes on site, with the formal report released the following business day.
Your Handover Inspection Report
Your handover inspection report provides a documented record of the property’s condition and identifies defects or outstanding items requiring attention.
The report can be shared with your builder to support discussions around remediation and follow-up.
For the 90-day inspection, observations and concerns from the first few months can also be discussed alongside the original handover report.
From Handover To Your First 90 Days
Some issues may only become apparent after you begin living in your new home.
The initial handover inspection provides a record of the property’s condition before occupation. During the following months, you can keep track of concerns that emerge as you settle into the property.
The 90-Day Owners’ Maintenance Inspection provides an opportunity to review those concerns and refer back to the original inspection where appropriate.
This gives you a clear process from initial handover through to the first 90 days of homeownership.
