All data is stored in encrypted, secure servers with controlled permissions, so only authorised parties can view or download documents.
All residential pools and spas that can hold more than 30 cm of water require a compliance certificate under the ACT’s pool safety regulations.
The scheme began on 1 May 2024. All pool owners have until May 2028 to obtain their compliance certificate.
You’ll receive a rectification report detailing what needs to be fixed. Once issues are addressed, a follow-up inspection can be booked to issue the certificate.
A pool compliance certificate is generally valid until 2032, unless significant changes are made to the barrier or property.
It includes the site inspection, compliance reporting, government lodgement fees, and secure storage of photographic and video evidence.
All rental properties must meet the ACT’s minimum ceiling insulation requirement of R5 if currently below R2 or uninsulated.
The requirement began in April 2023. Full compliance must be achieved by November 2026, with a nine-month grace period from the start of each new lease.
Inspectors measure existing insulation levels, check coverage, and verify installation quality to confirm compliance with the R5 standard.
