Built on More Than Two Decades of Building-Industry Experience

Arcsite’s story began in Canberra in 2003 with Residential Reports, the family-founded building inspection business established by Arcsite founder Kelly Hill.

Today, Residential Reports completes more than 3,500 residential and commercial building inspections each year. This work has given the team first hand insight into how properties are constructed, handed over, inspected, maintained and managed and what happens when important building information is not properly retained.

Inspection reports, warranties, manuals, maintenance requirements, defect records, compliance documents and critical decisions were being created throughout a building’s life, but rarely kept together in a way that remained connected to the property.

When responsibility passed from a developer to an Owners Corporation, between managers, or across committees and contractors, valuable records and context could easily become fragmented or lost.
